Marinela has started a column in the Romanian weekly for MDs ‘Viata medicale’ when she came to the Netherlands. ‘Cosmopolitan’ was a negative qualification during the former regime, but also after the revolution. Marinela was blamed to be too much international oriented.

Marinela strongly believes that experiences and information from abroad will help the development of the Romanian society. So, she reflects on ‘news’, innovations and own experiences abroad and puts these reflections within the Romanian context. She publishes about 24 journals per year. Her ‘journals’ are intensively read and highly appreciated.

In 2004 a selection of her ‘journals’ was published in a book (see About us). She uses parts of her travelling to find information and inspiration for her ‘journal’. Mostly personal material is used to illustrate the journal.
